I recently had a good one-night stay at Happysintra Guesthouse by Casa Do Preto, conveniently located just a short jaunt from Sintra's amazing sights like Quinta da Regaleira. The moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff set a lovely tone for our visit, ensuring our bags were sorted with amazing accuracy. The guesthouse features a charming garden that added to the overall soothing atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a continental spread that we enjoyed on the lovely terrace, complementing the picturesque surroundings. I found the rooms to be clean, quiet, and thoughtfully furnished, providing the perfect refuge after a day of exploration. Bonus points for the nearby tapas and wine bar – a must-try after visiting the castles! Traveling with friends, we appreciated the plethora of dining options close by and will definitely return on our next adventure in Portugal.
